SUMMARY:Mahashivarathri celebration
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_column_text]There is an unknown and mysterious energy that is driving all of us. Scientists have not been able to give it a name\, yet. However\, saints of yore have called this unknown energy Shiva.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_column_text]Shiva is the energy believed to make every living being alive. We are able to breathe\, eat\, walk and carry out our day-to-day activities because of Shiva. Not only does this energy drive living beings\, but it also resides in non-living things - as their energy. Shiva\, thus\, drives existence.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=".vc_custom_1492008828909{margin-top: 40px !important;}"][vc_column][nd_options_spacer nd_options_height="20"][nd_options_text nd_options_text_tag="h3" nd_options_text_weight="bold" nd_options_text_family="nd_options_first_font" nd_options_text="OUR CAUSES" nd_options_text_color="#727475" nd_options_text_font_size="20" nd_options_text_line_height="20"][nd_options_spacer nd_options_height="20"][vc_column_text]Unlike a lot of Hindu festivals\, Maha Shivratri is not an overtly joyous festival. This is a night reserved for self-reflection and introspection for the purpose of growing and leaving behind all things that hinder our success. People all over the country celebrate Maha Shivratri according to the customs dictated in the region. Some celebrate in the morning\, while other organise pujas and jagrans at night. Devotees also observe a full day fast on Maha Shivratri\, eating only on the next day after bathing. The fast is observed not only to attain Lord Shiva’s blessings but also as a test of one’s own determination.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
