Yoga is an ancient physical, mental, and spiritual exercise that began in India and is today performed in many different forms worldwide. It was performed previously by yogis to meditate on them. Indians have recognized the value of yoga for decades, and in recent years, the entire globe has been discussing, practicing, and adopting yoga and its advantages.
The Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, is significant in Hindu mythology, as Prime Minister Modi noted on June 21 in the United Nations General Assembly. After that, International Yoga Day, also known as World Yoga Day, is celebrated yearly on June 21. It is a day when people on a global scale get together to promote awareness about yoga.
Our Shri Anandha Kalpha Foundation intends to celebrate International Yoga Day with the theme of "Yoga for Peace." With this camp, people have recognized the importance and power of yoga. It covers a variety of activities designed to maintain a person in excellent shape and help people overcome various ailments and disabilities, believed as a powerful meditation technique that aids in the relaxation of both the mind and body.
On this day, being a master in yoga, our founder, Dr. S. Easwaran, organized a yoga camp regarding the theme and yoga's benefits provide mental and spiritual advantages in addition to poses that enhance flexibility and release stress. Finally, he thanked everyone for making it a success with awareness of getting inner peace with yoga.
