Independence Day 2016

As the nation is celebrating its 70th Independence Day on the 15th day of August 2016, we Shri Anandha Kalpha Foundation joined hands with them by saluting and commemorating the heroes of Indian Independence. The program was well planned, with various events; Flag Hoisting, Events, Speech, Competitions, Sweet Distribution, and Prize Distribution. Our Tri-color flag was hoisted by the special invitee with all the respect, followed by the national anthem and speeches about the struggle incurred to taste our Freedom.

Events such as fancy-dress competition among the kiddos took us back to the time of the Freedom fight. The theme picked for the Year 2016 is Unsung Heroes of Freedom Fight, which brings limelight to the unsung heroes. The Speeches are thoughtful, and remembering the heroes at the good times was like inspiring the future by struggles in the past.

Finally, Prizes were distributed to all the participants to encourage their participation and boost them for their active participation in future events. Besides, sweets were distributed to all the attendees and participants to celebrate the Joy of the 70th independence year. The celebration had its end with Tamil Thai Vaalthu. Jai Hind.
